Wave Arising is a collaborative project built on the musical foundation of pioneer 69db, who has worked with live electronics since 1991 with acts including Spiral Tribe and R-Zac & Dharma Techno, and dancer-researcher Kynsie. The project fuses soundscapes, ambient textures, and experimental dub techno with movement-based ritual practices. Their debut album, The Rooted Sky, was released on Ransom Note Records in 2024 and established them as voices exploring the intersection of electronic music, meditation, and collective experience. Wave Arising creates immersive environments through workshops, gatherings, and live performances that prioritize circular dancefloor arrangements and intuitive listening over conventional clubbing structures.
