Yu Su is a Kaifeng-born composer and sound artist now based in London. She moved to Vancouver in 2013 and began producing music in 2014, initially collaborating under the moniker You're Me before establishing a solo career. Her work spans ambient, experimental, and left-field dance music, released on labels including Technicolour (Ninja Tune), Music From Memory, and her own imprint bié, which she founded to spotlight Chinese artists. Su has received critical recognition for her dub-inflected and atmospheric approach to composition, and performs as a DJ with an eclectic range that stretches across genres. Beyond music, she has explored culinary collaboration as an extension of her artistic practice.
